Patrizia Ravalico BSW (UNISYD), MA COUPLE AND FAMILY THERAPY (UNSW), GRADUATE CERT. IN CLINICAL SUPERVISION (AIRS), & Registered Medicare provider.

Patrizia has a 30-year clinical experience in mental and relationships’ health. She has extensive training in therapeutic approaches from behavioural - usually short-term and addressing behaviours, thought and emotional patterns, to psychodynamic - focussing more on personal and family history.

As a Mental Health Clinician
Patrizia has worked extensively with people presenting with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety and depression, loss and grief, related mood disorders, adjustment and life crises. Along with focussed psychological strategies including CBT, Patrizia devises therapeutic techniques aimed at building insight with emotional self-regulation, improving self-esteem and resilience.

She works with psychological trauma victims (viz: bullying, neglect, abandonment, domestic violence, sexual abuse, surviving a parent or child’s suicide). Patrizia devises therapeutic techniques aimed at building insight with emotional self-regulation, and resilience.


As a couples therapist
Patrizia provides a safe and nurturing space for couples in relationship difficulties to reduce conflict, communicate effectively and have greater connection and intimacy in their relationship. She also works with couples who are separating and who are trying to re-build their lives.


As a family therapist
Patrizia is committed to building healthier and sustainable relationships within families. She offers a safe space for families to communicate and to clarify boundaries and expectations. She has worked extensively with parents and their children across the parenting life span: from post- natal issues, toddlers, primary aged children, adolescents to young adults and those in advanced age, as well as blended families.
