Couple and relationship counselling

Relationships can be the hardest yet also the most supportive and transforming aspects of our lives. The desire to be in a relationship is a part of our innate species yet we also strive to be independent and individual. This dual desire can lead to difficulties in being in intimate relationships.

Our couple psychologists have post graduate training in couple and relational studies. They will provide a place to explore each person’s challenges and how to address these in an emotionally compassionate and effective way.

We provide relationship counselling and couple therapy to address many issues, including:

  • Preparing for Marriage (the Prepare program)

  • Communication issues

  • Relationship gridlocks and dissatisfaction

  • Intimacy and affection

  • Betrayal and infidelity

  • Grief and loss

  • Sexual issues

  • Intimate partner violence

  • Domestic violence

  • Attachment based issues

  • Parenting differences

  • Prenatal support

  • Trauma

  • Infertility

  • Abortion

  • Post separation

  • Blended families
